Warranty, Refunds, Exchange, Repairs
We are proud to offer you watches that are manufactured using high quality materials with the utmost care. Every Jean-Loup Ribordy watch is tested for waterproof integrity (splashproof, 3ATM) and timekeeping accuracy, amongst other things. Your watch also has a 1 year international warranty against manufacturing faults, from date of purchase.
Please note the following in this regard:
Warranty and maintenance services must be performed by an official service centre in Switzerland (full return address will be supplied on request). Postage charges to us are paid by customer but postage cost to the customer after watch repaired paid in full by us if manufacturers fault is found.
The warranty does not cover the following services: regular maintenance and services, damage caused by improper handling, careless usage, accidents, damage during transportation, wear and tear from normal use, or water damage if not explicitly marked as waterproof. Straps / bracelets wear and tear is not covered by this warranty.
The warranty also becomes invalid if damage to the watch was caused by carelessness, negligence or unauthorised service and if this damage cannot be ascribed to a manufacturing fault.
Changing of batteries in quartz watches is not included in the warranty unless the battery is found to be faulty.
Should you receive damaged or defective items please contact our customer service and indicate the product ID so that we can deal with this issue without delay. Naturally, we will carry the return shipment costs in this case.
Due to customized nature of the product, as it is made to specific personal requirements, we cannot offer refunds. However, if you are not happy with your watch, we will work with you until ultimate satisfaction is achieved. Please note, if you are not entirely happy with your watch, you must contact us within 48 hrs of receipt via email only and clearly state reason why you are not happy. If you fail to do so, we will presume you are happy with your order and any further service/ repairs / exchanges will be under our usual warranty conditions only.
If you wish to request repair under warranty / report fault please email us to quoting reference of your order.
If you wish to repair your watch outside of warranty, please contact us with fault description and we will get back to you with an estimate and postal address of the repair centre.
